4 VINTAGE 1950's PLASTIC DK GREY / BROWN FAUX WOOD-GRAIN FURNITURE CUP CASTERS For Sale

These (4) furniture cup casters came right out of my parent's home! Having been stored away for many, many decades in mine, they're now searching for a new place to serve! A standard part of home decor in the 50's and earlier, they were used to protect the floor from the scraping of furniture legs as plastic covers were used to protect the couch....AGH!!! Produced in different styles and colors this set displays a dark grey background with brown faux wood designs. Full diameter measures 3". Able to accommodate TWO furniture leg sizes, the centered ROUND INDENTATION has a 3/4"diameter-- the larger SQUARE indentation could hold a furniture leg measuring 1 5/8 Square; 2 1/4" on the diameter.The side that protects the floor holds very thick (beautiful blue) carpet material that raises the piece a bit off the floor. No longer dinosaurs, they're PERFECT for protection of your expensive hardwood floors!
