These six shams are all from onefamily and lovingly put away in a cedar hope chest back in 1950.They belonged to an Oklahoma family who moved out west to Los Angeles California around 1938. The four larger shams are dated. One is from California to Mother and is dated Dec 25, 1937. One is from California to Sister and is dated Dec 25, 1937. One is from California and is dated Feb 16, 1938. One is from Camp Wallace Texas and is dated July 17, 1943.The two smaller shams are undated. One is from Los Angeles Calif to Mother. One is from Los Angeles Calif to Sister. They probably also date to the late 1930s.
