TWO AMBROTYPES OF ELDERLY COUPLE INSIDE LOVELY DOUBLE SIXTH PLATE THERMOPLASTIC CASE-The handsome couple had their likenesses most likely created on separate days, but they are both equally strong portraits in my opinion. The woman\'s image appears to be a classic revelio style ambrotype and what I presume to be her husband\'s portrait a more traditionally made clear glass Ambrotype. Both were added into a gorgeous geometric patterned thermoplastic case in excellent plus condition as their means of final presentation.As a major collector of thermoplastic photo cases from the 19th Century, I can tell you this example, although listed as fairly common is extremely hard to find and in excellent condition. CONDITION:Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this cased image as part of my description.The double six plate ambrotypes and case are in near mint condition. The only flaw I can find on the case are a few minor fleabites on the edges. Each plate received warm tone hand tinting to their faces. A truly beautiful cased set of images for any collector of 19th Century photography. I will carefully ship this item to the winner by way of USPS Priority Mail.
