This pen was only made in a limited edition of 88 pens of which this is # 79. The certificate, folder and booklet/guarantee are included. If you want a cartridge converter, I will provide one.
I purchased this pen at a Bonhams sale approximately 10 years ago. The sale only offered exquisite new pens. This was one of them. However, I am listing it as “used” (I would prefer “pre-owned” because I have no idea whether the manufacturer, retailer or original owner dipped it into ink. Based on my decades of collecting fountain pens, this one certainly seems unused.
Please note that vermeil tarnishes because it is silver plated with gold. My suggestion is to wipe the vermeil sleeve with a silver polishing cloth when you believe it is necessary. To my eyes, it is lustrous and a piece of art.
Its retail price was $2,200.
