Up for sale is an antique, early 1900s, Kalamazoo Emperor Enameled Cast Iron Wood Cook Stove. Most of these stoves were made in white, the Beige was more unusual and considered decorative. This stove also has more nickel accented parts than the base models. Another \"add-on\" is the water tank located on the right side. I have never used the stove, but I can find no cracks and I believe that I have all the functional parts. The stove is in great condition and has been a center piece in our kitchen for many years.
Warning: This stove is really heavy! I don\'t know the actual weight, but it took several grown men to move this into our home, I would guess it to be 500 lbs or more. We are actually getting rid of the stove because our home is an older log home built on sand and the stove is starting to make the floor bow under its weight. This stove is for pick-up only and you will need to bring a few hefty hands to get it out of my home (I will also assist the buyer). The stove can at least be removed from its base, which will make transporting a bit easier. Pick-up is in Mazomanie, WI. This is a half hour west of Madison.
I have tried to include a whole lot of pictures to accurately describe the stoves condition. If you need more pictures, or have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.
I have a few extra nickel parts (see picture) that came with the stove, but I am not sure where they go.
We will consider all reasonable offers, thanks for looking.
