The French compact measures2 3/8 Inches in diameter, made of fire celluloid with Art Deco lid featuring French coquette - aGlitterGirl in red ball gown, wearing bright makeup,and holding gold fan in her hand.The upper lid carries round glass mirror with good reflection. Compact has a working hinge with a positive closure. The powder wellis clean, made of celluloid andhasa small crack next to the clasp (visible on my pictures) -an indication of celluloid-aging process thatis expected due to itscharacteristics; there is alsocelluloidimperfection at the base that is difficultto capture
