Here from one of the convents wework with is a rare antique 1914 Lourdes Eucharistic Congress Cross Medal. Thefront of this medal is ornately decorated with Jesus holding the Eucharist, andbelow there is a monstrance exhibiting the Eucharist. The back of the medal hasa beautiful image of the Virgin Mary with the words "LOURDES 1914"written on the cross bar. The words below translate from French to"Eucharistic Congress". This cross is artist signed "GLAVRILLIER" below the elbow of Jesus holding the Eucharist. This superbpiece measures approximately 1 1/8" wide by 1 3/4" tall and is madeof bronze.
