ANTIQUE PITTSBURGH REVERSE AND OBVERSE PAINTED LAMP - SIGNED: $1295.00
Up for your offerding pleasureisasigned Pittsburghreverse paintedtablelamp.Theshade is reverse painted on a 16\"textured glassshade. The reverse painted shade has a continuous pattern of Hollyhocksand foliage with bees buzzing around them. The colors are cleanand crisp and the artwork is very well done. It could use a goodcleaning. The sought after \"Arrowroot\"baseis original to the shade andis equipped with 2 original porcelain lined Arrow pull chain sockets. Itstands approx. 21\" tall to the top of the finial and issigned withthe Pittsburgh logo P.L.B. & G. CO #2154 on the loader plate. It hasbeen rewired with a brown period cloth cord and old plug.Thepictures really show the beauty of this lamp and gives the best description sotake a good look. This is one fantastic lamp. The shade is free ofany chips, cracks or repairs, wear commensurate with age. buyersplease remember that I am selling antiques and that there should be a degree ofexpectation on your part in knowing that there will be normal aging and minorimperfections towards an item that is 75 to 100 years old. These items arecommensurate with age, meaning they are old. Chances are if therearen\'t any, it\'s a newer item and you shouldn\'t want it anyways. In otherwords, a minor blemish on some metalwork belonging to a large shade or a 1/16by 1/16 of a paint flake missing, please try and be reasonable. I really don\'twant to do a refund because the finial ( typically a 10.00 piece ) isn\'tperfect on a 2,000.00 lamp. I always describe the important aspects towardscondition reports and sometimes my eye misses what I deem immaterial issuessuch as the aforementioned sentence. It seems the more experienced an antiquedealer or buyer is, the more understanding of condition they are. That beingsaid, if you think you\'re going to be a difficult buyer because you wantperfection in a 100 year old piece, please purchase another seller\'sproduct. has made it very difficult for sellers in the past few years yetI\'m a good seller who wants to be fair and all I ask for is a fair buyer to dobusiness with. Thanks for your
