ANTIQUE Small Green Masons Jar Patent Nov. 30th 1858 w/Stopper Lid For Sale

I found this in an estate sale in Watervliet Michigan near Paw Paw Lake that was a home of an old wood mill that made produce crates in the mid/late 1800s.  I grew up in the area and knew the owners of the home in the late 1970s (shoveled driveway snow).  I have no idea of the true age of this piece, the top fits snug and perfect but has no wear and is spliced like a bladder or topper was to be inserted.  The bottom has an illegible etching it appears to be  1 C.  This could be much more valuable than what I am pricing it at.  I could only find one other example kind of like it not in as good shape, so I\'m pricing it accordingly.  Other items I obtained from this estate that I have sold and currently own were/are turn of the century or older.

I have not cleaned it and will not, it has residue on top and topper.
