Nails were hammered into the statue to activate its spiritual power. Magic charges were put into the two cavitys on the back. Eyes are covered with glass. Lots of other decorations and charges like bones, calebas, wooden locks, clay, natrual fibers, leather skirt. It has a beautiful age related brown patina.
