Click to View Image Album This is an exquisite antique Italian micro mosaic cross with a miniature under glass in the center. The cross is a soft aqua green with white and yellow daisies all over. At the top it says \"Roma\" above a single red rose in the mosaic. There is a fine black and white micro mosaic zigzag border around entire cross. Metal is all solid brass and there is a brass loop at the top to hang the cross. Not including loop top, cross measures 7\" high and 4\" across.

The mosaic is completely intact, no missing pieces or damage. Brass has rich natural aged patina. The thick glass cover over picture in center of glass has some chips around edges. It is held in place by 4 thick brass prongs, and it looks like prongs have been lifted and what is inside perhaps changed or repaired over the years. It looks good to eye, but I with loupe signs of small damage or tampering, prongs intact but bent. Otherwise simply superb. GUARANTEE ALL MY MERCHANDISE IS ALWAYS 100% AUTHENTIC.
