One of a kind, I’ve never seen another like it. Maybe made in an American welsh community as it seems inspired by that style but I couldn’t find exact provenance. Picked it up in NY and it came from a respected antique dealers collection. He purchased it from fellow collector & the author of Folk Art in America — Jack T Erickson. Known to have an excellent eye for unique pieces.

Batting looks to be wool or cotton blend.
Hand quilted by someone who was a very skilled quilter. It’s intricate, with scales, hashes, feather swags and wreaths. Such a stunner and would be such a beautiful display piece.
