Antique Fenton Carnival Glass Plate Cobalt Blue Base Pinecone Pattern Circa 1911 For Sale

This beautiful Fenton Carnival plate is very vibrant in it coloration. The pattern is in the Art Deco style with a pinecone and leaf pattern. It has a cobalt blue base and iridescent colors of greens, oranges, purples, yellows and icy blues. There are no chips or cracks. There are a couple bubbles and what is known as a “straw mark” in the center of the plate which is a crease in the glass that has been there since it was made. It happens during the cooling process of the piece. It does not affect the value of this beautiful plate. There are a couple other marks in the center of the plate as captured in the last photo. I think they are as well from the time the plate was made. The rim is is scalloped. On the underside base of the plate, I have captured an irregularity that looks like a chip, but is smooth to the touch and again I think it is a natural blemish. It measures approximately 6.5” d x 1” h x 2.5” b. Please see pictures for accurate condition. THE STAND IS NOT INCLUDED.
