Antique GAILLARD copper pan 9 1/2\" splayed 7.69lbs. For Sale

For sale is an antique copper pan stamped GAILLARD PARIS. also the initials H S . The pan was recently relind with a bright new hand wiped tin. Of course this granddaddy of a pan has all the marks from years and years of service. The thick cast iron handle is attached with large copper rivets and was just recently tightened to last into another century. A little misshapen around the rim it measures roughly 10\" wide the splayed sides are 3 3/4\" . A very sturdy pan with a very thick base plate common on Gaillard pans that were made for tough work in some of the greatest kitchens in Paris. For me nothing could be made more fine or attractive today as these pieces of culinary history. Thank you for looking. Shipping to lower 48 only
