Offered is an antique hand forged and hammered set of hearth fireplace cooking utensils:
a strainer, a small pan, and a dipper. All have the same hanging hook-ends with tight
rivets. The patina is exceptional. I don’t think anyone ever polished these. The holes in the
strainer are irregular and hand punched.
The condition in my opinion is exceptional given their intended uses and age. I date these
circa to 1830 or earlier. Each weigh about 8 ounces with lengths in the handles a
matching 11”. This coppersmith intended for them to match.Overall lengths are 1
7” x 15” and 14”
