Antique Original Coca Cola Vending Machine 1956 Vendo 81 B For Sale

The Coca Cola Vendo 81 machine was manufactured from 1955 to 1958 with the top corners rounded. The V-81 series consisted of 3 different versions. The 1956 model was called the V-81B. In 1956 Coca Cola began a new advertising campaign focusing on a new fresher look. From 1956 on, all Coca Cola uprights would have the upper half painted DuPont Iceberg white. The Vendo 81 is a very versatile machine. It will accept a small 7 oz beer bottle as well as a 8 oz and the 12 oz longnext bottle. It will accept soda bottles, water bottles, beer bottles and juice bottles and keep them icy col and deliver them flawlessly for one thin dime. It is a 58 inches tall, 27 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The machines capacity is 81 bottles, thus Vendo 81.
This example is a unrestored machine. Very rare due to most spent their years outside of a gas station or store. Almost all you will find will be restored. Remember they are only original once and no matter how good the restoration is, it is notoriginal. This machine has worked flawlessly since 1956. Everything works as it should. Sometimes after shutting it off you have to pushthe interior light button twice to start the ballast. That\'s the extent of it. The machine has some small bumps from the many years ofservice and being moved around but in myopinion only adds to the patina of a real working Coke machine. The Vendo 81 is one of the most sought after machines on the market today. The sizeworks for most homes, dens, game rooms or offices and the glass door is just a must have.
