This is a nice antique papier / paper mache lacquer lap desk with mother of pearl or shell inlay, floral & gold decoration. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with some crazing throughout as well as a small imperfection along the base seen in pic 11. It also no longer has the locking mechanism and it comes exactly as shown. Itensures 12 1/2\" x 9 1/2\" x 3 3/4\"
