Charming portrait of a young boy dressed like a little 1920’s business man, standing beside a pony and a younger child grinning ear to ear!
The back is dated February 1924 and while the subjects are not identified, they look similar to and came from the estate collection of a man who was born and raised in New York City in 1919 and who, in fact, was the namesake of a prominent and successful New York based menswear retailer and manufacturer….which certainly explains the outfit, whether this is him or another relative.
