Antique Victorian Rosewood Marquetry Sewing Table Cabinet Stand Exquisite For Sale

Here we offer a Victorian sewing table. This piece is mainly rosewood with Renaissance Revival decoration. The lift top has a rare marquetry Inlay of a man in a fishing boat. The piece is a great size 28 1/2\" tall by 21\" across by 15\" deep. Inside there are compartments to the moveable tray with Butterfly inlay & other inlays. There is one piece we must put back on of the side trim we have it inside the cabinet.It goes down the side of the piece with a lovely fan shape & matches the other side exactly. It has the original fabric below, the original finish.Someone took great care of this piece for well over 150 years. We estimate this piece to be early Victorian about 1860, but so far we have no artists marks or dates found on this rare little cabinet. The inner tray is on a drawer track & moves freely. the lid works beautifully with its brass hinge. There is a piece of inlay missing on the front edge. However it is not noticeable. overall the piece is in great condition but we are selling it As Is due to its age & Antiquity.. The base has a lot of fancy hand carved trim. to the legs & stretcher.
