Antique c1930’s British Bentima & Perivale WestminsterChiming Mantel Clock.
This is an antique c1930's British "Bentima" cased Westminster chiming mantel clock with a "Perivale" mechanism. This is in outstanding condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful domed oak body with a decorative carvings to each side of the case and a black coloured plinth. The oak has a medium/dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and silver coloured hands. To the right of the number three is the chime/silence selector lever (fully functional). The face is protected by a circular convex glass door with a chromed metal bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with noscratches, chips or cracks.To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition. This chimes at quarter past the hour, half past thehour, quarter to the hour and on the hour. On the hour it also chimes thenumber of hours. This comes complete with its pendulum and key.
