Art Deco Lemania 15 jewel Miniature Clock
This excellent and charming vintage Lemania Watch Co. travel, desk or boudoir clock is a true collectible piece for any vintage watch or miniature clock enthusiast. Featuring a newly-serviced and pristine 15 jewel Aurore 423/Lemania watch movement, it is a rare find you don\'t want to miss.
The Swiss clock features an original royal blue leather and silk hexagonal case made in Germany. The winding crown, dial, crystal, case and luminous hands are all original and excellent, making it a great decorative item for any home or office. A small patch of silk behind the winder is absent, but not generally visible. Importantly, it is keeping excellent time following complete overhaul and new alloy mainspring fitted. Note the photo of the movement running like a song. Note also the outstanding condition of the screw-heads, especially the little detent screw (stem set screw). This is evidence that the watch was not abused by poor \"technicians\".
The brand is well-known for its quality and precision, and for years had been the “chronograph, aircraft and technical” partner of the old original Omega/ Louis Brandt organization.
