Pin up art was a very American art form and had its peak during the late 1930s until the 1950s. Magazine covers, calendars, posters, advertising, pictures and even pilots painted pin up girls on their airplanes. Many of the pin ups had a sexy woman and campy sexual innuendo sayings that went along with it. The sexual revolution of the 1960s made many of these prints inappropriate during that time. The art of Pin ups have become appreciated again and are very collectable.
This fun pin up calendar page is from a 1952 calendar. By pin up artist Ernest Chiriaka. Page in great condition, no age stain, no rips, no folds. Measures about 9 x 11 inches. Has a glossy finish. Guaranteed to be an authentic "old" item and not a recent reproduction. I combine shipping too!
