The axolotl is a type of salamander. It is unusual among amphibians in that it reaches adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis. Instead of taking to the land, adults remain aquatic and gilled. This cute 3d printed model is fully articulated (See Video) and I am offering it in 2 sizes - 13.5 and 19.5cm. It is printed in multicoloured silk filament which changes colour as you print. This means that no two axolotls are the same, at least for the larger version. The smaller one may print in a single colour. Due to the variation in colours I am offering these models on a pick your own basis.
Pick Your OwnFirst decide what size Axolotl you would like and then scroll to the photo showing that size and then select the number of the axolotl you want. Then select that size and number from the drop down list and that's it. The photos will be continuously updated to show those that have gone and the newcomers that have replaced them.
The models are 3d printed from an environmentally friendly plastic. As with all 3d prints there may be some very minor surface imperfections.
All orders are sent by 2nd class post and if you purchase more than one axolotl there is no additional postage to pay.
This item has small, movable parts which if mishandled could break off and cause a choking hazard, so not suitable for young children.
