Beautiful and all original quart canning jar. Nicely embossed on the front with a 5 point star and reads; THE MAGIC FRUIT JAR. # 8 on base. Original cast iron & wire clamp and correct dated 1886 glass lid. Very nice green aqua coloration. Looks more green than aqua too me. Lid is a deeper green. See photos. Excellent condition. Be hard to find a better example than this one. Wonderful looking, early made canning jar and a nice collectors item for the early glass, bottle, canning, fruit jar, kitchen or country store collection.
