A RARE ESTATE FIND!
This is an outstanding find of a stunning, beautifully designed mantle clock!
The clock is made of metal and painstakingly decorated in gorgeous cloisonne enamel...I\'ve never seen another this nice!
The case is supported with round supports underneath and features six matching decorative finials on the top platform and a remarkable fancy urn on the very top.
The top and bottom and connected by three cloisonne pillars on each side of the case and there is a Victorian porcelain portrait on the sides of the case; very nice!
The front of the dial is framed with shiny etched brasstone metal and a beveled glass crystal is inset into it.
The dial is porcelain enamel with a blue backdrop and gorgeous floral patterns in each corner.
The dial itself is white and features black Roman numerals to mark the hours and fancy matching hands to point out the time; black second hand too.
The back of the case features a hinged, finely etched metal door that has its own matching knob. The door does not close properly and will need some adjustment.
It opens to allow access to the key wind, mechanical, balance wheel movement inside the case that lasts for about three days on a single wind.
The winding key and time setting knobs are both present.
This beautiful Clock weight 4 pounds.
