It will also operate Zenith Universals 5G601, 6G001, 6G004, 6G501, 6G505, 6G601, 6G605, and 5G500R. There is also a plug output for the dial light on the 600 series. Other receiver brands include the Hallicrafters TW-1000 and TW-2000, RCA 3BX671 and 3BX672. Battery life is about 70 to 75 hours of normal use depending on receiver type and condition. Also there is no 90 volt B supply present on the output pins until the unit is plugged in and the receiver turned on. NIMH rechargeable D cells may also be used.
