A Nice Decorative Piece for Your Home or to Add to Your A vintage nice looking bronze figurine of a young girl sitting and holding a small animal (dog?). The bronze figuring depicts a girl in a dress and head cover with straps sitting on the ground and holding a small animal which we believe is a do g or puppy in her hands. The piece which is beautifully cast shows excellent details of the girl\'s face, her clothing, the dog and hid long tail, as well as the girl\'s facial features. The bronze has a nice age patina, it attached to a black colored marble base, and looks great. Just a great looking bronze figurine with a very interesting subject. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: Uncertain but most likely sometime early to mid 1900s, possibly earlier.

Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Size: The marble base measure ~5 1/4\" by ~3 1/4\" by ~7/8\", while the figurine itself measure ~3 3/4\" high, ~3 1/4\" long and ~2 3/4\" at its widest. The entire piece weighs about 2 pounds and 10 ounces.

Marks: Unmarked.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A nice vintage figurine representing a beautiful subject to decorate your home or add to your collection.

Condition: The figurine itself is in very good condition. It is dark colored with a nice age patina throughout. It has no breaks and no repairs but has minor scratches throughout the body. The base itself is intact with no repairs but has a few small chips along the edges which are difficult to see due to its dark coloring. These do not distract from the beauty or quality of the piece. Finally, the piece is lightly soiled and dusty and would benefit from a good cleaning. A nice decorative item or a good addition to your collection.
