Anthropomorphic Framed Water Color Painting By Unknown ArtistEvery once in a while we run across a unique art piece by an unknown artist. This particular one of a kind untitled piece we found to be very interesting. We believe it is a watercolor painting. The image features 4 anthropomorphic characters dressed in some kind of royal regalia. Two are depictions of monkey men and the other two are of bird men. We don't know what if any culture or tradition this painting may be related to or what the meeting between the 4 characters means. It does seem to have a kind of eastern aesthetic. There is certainly some talent and imagination in creating this piece and could be the perfect accent for your mystical decor.
Including the frame the item measures 11.5" high and 14.5 wide with a depth of .75". It has been professionally framed with paper backing and a hanging wire. There is a little bit of wear to the black frame. The piece is in overall very nice condition. We do not know when or where it may have been painted or whose wall it may have adorned but this a chance to own a one of a kind art piece of unknown origin.
