This Breyer model horse is a rare glossy version of Misty, the famous Shetland Pony from Marguerite Henry's novel "Misty of Chincoteague". The horse is in its 1:9 scale and made of cellulose acetate/plastic material. It was produced in 1972 by Breyer Animal Creations, sculpted by Chris Hess, and distributed by Reeves International.The color of the horse is Palomino Tobiano, and it is suitable for children aged 8 years and above. The horse comes from the Traditional line of Breyer models and measures 6.5" tall x 9 inches in length. This collectible item is a great addition to any horse or model collection.
