We have received a consignment for sale from the familyof a Military Chaplain. These include a collection of WWII Catholic devotionalitems and pictures, to benefit several Carmelite Convents we work with.With this medal you will be getting the original WWIIpicture in the listing.
The medals were stamped from brass shell casings andworn along with a Catholic GI's dog tags identifying them as Catholic and tocall a priest in case of eminent death. On the back you can see space for thesoldier's name, date of birth and blood type.
The medal is 1.75 inches hanging length and weighs 8grams of brass. Please look at all the posted photographs as they are part ofthe description.
