For your consideration, we are offering for sale this very rare Circa 1925 White Dot Sheaffer Jade Flat Top Fountain Pen Porthole Demonstrator. The Sheaffer Demonstrator is in Near Mint to Mint Condition - a fabulous example is presented in this listing that rarely comes up for acquisition.
Collector Alert: This demonstrator pen is in remarkable condition with the Jade color displaying vibrantly.
This fountain pen cap and barrel are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or teeth marks with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the Sheaffer Gold Filled Clip that displays no wear. The Cap Banding is in perfect condition with no wear of the gold-filled material. The Gold-Filled Lever is in perfect condition with no wear of the gold-filled material. There are no monograms or personalizations on the cap or barrel. The barrel is clearly stamped with, \"W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. PAT. AUG 25,08. FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A. Jade Flat Top Fountain Pen is a standard size and measures 5 1/4 in length capped and 6 3/8\" posted.
I have hand-polished the Gold-Filled Sheaffer Clip, Cap Banding, and lever arm. I have cleaned and polished the barrel and cap to bring back the vibrancy and protect the fountain pen\'s celluloid. The color of this Jade is with gorgeous, vibrant color.
These Sheaffer Porthole Demonstrator Fountain Pens never came with a nib, but I added one so the next user could use it. The portholes are factory and show the inside of the cap along with the filling of the sac and pressure bar. I have added a silicone sac to this fountain pen so the pen can be used and have the Jade celluloid preserved.
This is a gorgeous circa 1925 Sheaffer Flat Top Demonstrator Fountain Pen in the Jade Celluloid that would grade in Near Mint to Mint condition, it is just a gorgeous example by Sheaffer. These are extremely difficult to acquire as there are few in existence.
