As part of a tradition to decorate their Christmas tree entirely with hand blown crystal, the artist and his wife will often use dozens of these candy canes on a single tree. Weight being of primary concern, the artist makes these canes from lightweight borosilicate crystal which has virtually the same reflective qualities of uncut full lead crystal. The lighter weight material allows a tree to be decorated with dozens of these sparkling decorations creating a truly beautiful spectacle. Kevin is beginning to produce these gorgeous heirloom ornaments in a limited fashion. The candy canes measure approximately 3 incheslong and reflect light brilliantly. To make hanging easier, a loop graces the top end of each cane allowing the customer to use their favorite style of hangers, whether they are easy to use wire hangers, monofilament nylon or bright red ribbons. To insure years of enjoyment, a special Storage Tube is included with your order. These truly unique one-of-a-kind ornaments are ideal for gift giving to friends, family members, and Christmas ornament collectors. The artist also has the distinction of creating an assortment of one-of-a-kind Christmas tree ornaments that represented the state of California at the White House during the Reagan administration.Set retails at specialty shops for $125.
