Cap Box with \"US\" Stamp & Wool & Pick For Sale

This is a very nice cap box with the hard to find \"US\" stamped on the front flap. I believe these were from early war production. The box retains the wool and pick. The side ears and both belt loops are present and strong. The closing tab looks like it may have been repaired. Inside flap has the Mfg.\'s stamp. Hard to read the name but starts with \"Sm_______, & Co., Makers, Hartfored, Conn.\" Some lose to the finish on the edges of the box and the usual cracking on the top of the box. All in all a very attractive cap box. Three day inspection period with buyer paying for any return shipping cost.
