From 1970, here is aCase XX USA 6445RScout/Camp/Utility pattern knife that has not been used, carried, or sharpened. Although not an official BSA (Boy Scouts of America) knife, this type of knifeis often referred to as a \"Scout\" knife. There are 10 Dots on the masterSpear blade front tang stamp, dating this knife to 1970.The rear tang is pattern stamped 6445R (the \"R\" denotes the Bail on the cap end of the knife). This near mintknife has absolutely beautiful Red Bone handles with no cracks or chips. The master Spear blade has asharp factory edge, and all 4 blades (tools) have excellent, strongsnap at opening andclosing. There are a few tiny specks on the CV (chrome vanadium) blades.The knife measures 3 3/4\" in the closed position. It has Nickel Silver Bolsters, Bail,pinned Shield, and Brass Liners. The blades include the Spear master, Can Opener Blade, Bottle Opener/Screwdriver blade, and Punch blade. This isahigh quality, solid, well built, and beautiful 10-Dot 1970 6445RScout/Camp/Utilityknife inoutstanding Red Bone that is clean inside and out.
