The hooked rug stylepad has a cornucopia / fruit design.

The end flaps areuneven.

Measures 16 inches inlength, measured straight down the middle. At the main part of the cover, itmeasures 16 inches across. At the flaps, it is longer on one side than theother.

The piece has somefraying / marks / small stains / fading. See photos.

The piece is signed onthe canvas backing although it is hard to read and some of the edging hasfrayed off. I believe what is written is: “Original Design by Pearl K. McGowan,West Boylston, Mass.” On the bottom I cannot read the first two words. Then, “ChairSeat #181”

McGowan was born in1891 and passed away in 1983. She has been instrumental in the revival ofAmerican rug hooking in North style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, "sans-serif";\">
