Chinese Hand Painted Blue White Ceramic Lidded Ginger Temple Jar Foo Dog 20 Inch For Sale

Circa 20th century large cream ground blue decorated temple jar in pottery with a lid. Jar features Buddhist style lion finials. The body of the jar is applied with lion's head motifs and decorated with landscape themes. Made in China. Please note of wear consistent with age including firing and glaze imperfections consistent with the pottery making process. No evidence of chips, cracks, or prior restorations. It had a worn and torn piece of felt glued to the bottom which was removed although the glue residue remains but it can be removed unless you just add another felt piece. A gorgeous piece of art to add to your collection.
