Cloisonne Peacock Bird Sculpture with Feathers on Green Stone Base For Sale

This cloisonne peacock is just adorable. It sits on a green stone cube with two prongs resting inside the stone. The bird is obviously the male, with his tail feathers on display. These birds come from China and are usually made of sterling silver. However, this one is not marked, so I cannot advertise it. There are three red beads on the head. It comes from an estate of a retiring dealer and she told me she had it for a long time in her own collection. The condition is good with the following signs of age: some of the gilding has come off the legs and small leaves. There is some glue residue on the bottom of the feet, which has not been removed. The base and the bird can be separated, as mentioned, there are two prongs that fit in the base.Measurements are: base is 1 1/2" by 1 5/8" and 2" tall, overall sculpture including base is 10 3/4" tall, 10 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep.
