Here is an art from days past. This old plate was lovingly painted by hand and then fired. My grandma had hand painted a set for her Sunday china when her husband was away during WWII. I was told she would paint a dish and then walk it into town to have it fired. It was something that was done with skill, patience and a whole lot of love. I don\'t know the person who painted this one but her name was Fannie Bussey and her painting was done in or around 1960\'s. I have 3 or 4 of her plates. This one is signed on the back \'Fannie Bussey 6-2-1961. I hope you can give this plate a home and appreciate it like it had been in the past. :)
