E. Howard Reissue Banjo Model #5 For Sale

This is an E. Howard Reissue Model #5 Banjo Clock Circa 1977. It measures about 29 inches tall X 12 1/8 inches wide (at its widest point) X 6 inches deep. The case is hard wood with a walnut stain and has some light wear and scratches. The inside of the door is stamped with the Serial Number: 233. The door stays closed very well. The tablets are reverse painted glass and are in good condition. The painted dial has black Roman Numerals and is signed \"E. HOWARD BOSTON\". The hands are black as well. The cast iron weight is original and also has the #5 cast on it. The pendulum has a metal rod and a plain brass bob that is visible through the lower glass. The 8 day weight driven movement is a timepiece. There is a key for this clock and it does wind and tick however, it may need service.Dana Blackwell became vice-president of Howard Clock products in 1976 and was the driving force in reissuing several Howard Clocks.
