Up for sale is this RARE & FINE Stanley Bailey No 4-1/2 Type 7 Ca 1893 Smooth Woodworking Plane USA. This smooth plane is in mint condition. i It is very clean.... The cutter has a \"Stanley\" notched Sweetheart logo. The plane\'s original black japanning is in fine condition for its age and use. The knob is perfect, tight and secure. The tote is in excellent condition for its age with no cracks, splits or repairs, just a few minor nicks on finish. The plane measures 10-1/4\" L x 2-3/4\" W. The cheeks & sole have some minor pitting & scars but would clean up nicely. Cutter It measures: 6-1/2\" x 2-3/8\" W. it is rust free and I always suggest sharpening to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. It is marked with a Stanley New Britain, Conn, USA logo.
