Friends of The NRA ----Knife of The Year for 2007 ---- D\'Alton Holder, world-renowned designer and knifemaker of custom blades, has teamed up with Canal Street Cutlery Co. to create the exclusive Drop Point Hunter. This collaborative effort has resulted in a knife of unparalleled design. Holder\'s years of knife making experience, which includes serving as president of the Knifemaker\'s Guild, as well as an induction into BLADE Magazine\'s Cutlery Hall of Fame, make him the official source for beautiful, high-quality blades. The Drop Point Hunter is 7.25 inches long and features one piece of 440C stainless steel, full mirror polished blade, and tapered tang.It hasa polished nickel silver bolster and a genuine ram\'s horn handle. The accompanying sculpture features natural colored ram\'s horn, with notched areas to safely hold the knife on a diagonal across the entire horn. the left side of the blade is engraved with the FRIENDS OF THE NRA logo and aram\'s skull and is serialized 1056 of 1100. The sculpture baseis about10 inches high and about 12 inches wide and is almost 9 pounds.

The knife has never been used or sharpened and has only been displayed in our home.
