1.This SWORD is hand forged and hand sharpened using Japanese methods to create a perfect blade. Fully functional and battle ready. The accessories of the sword are all authentic from the ray skin handle, to silk sage-o and copper oxidized fittings. This is the best sword you will find in the price range.
2.The balde was made of 1060 High carbon steel in Maru structure,it was Fully hand forged,hand shaping,hand polishing in the most traditional method of sword making.The blade was well heat treating (Refining) and quenching(Tempering) greatly improve the hardness and flexibility of the balde for real use.
3.Materials And Way Of Forge: Blade: The blade of the sword has been hand forged using the ancient method of sword making. Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened.
4.This blade comes with a full length Tang which greatly enhances the strength of the sword. this sword is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper.
5.Due to our swords are full hand made, so Specs will vary slightly from sword to sword. please understand.
6.Tsuka :The Tsuka is made of high quality wood wrapped with genuine ray skin(Samegawa), and tightly tied with real silk ITO.Two Mekugi (peg) was nailed to secure the full tang of the sword,the sword can be disassembled by picking up the two Mekugi (peg).
7.Tsuba sets(sword Guard)：The Tsuba (guard), Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are made of high quality alloy with exquisite workmanship and fine elaboration.The tsuba is Secured by Two Copper Seppas (Spacer),The Fuchi (sleeve) and Kashira (buttcap) are made well match the tsuka for a good balance.
8.Habaki&Seppa:The habaki(blade collar) and the seppas (Spacer) are made of high quality brass
9.Saya:The saya is made by dry wood and put them through hacking,slotting,gluing,polishing and shaping treatment,and design proper degree of tightness for the sword blade to enter and out.
