So much time went into braiding this stunningly beautiful young woman\'s hair for her daguerreotype. She showed up at the studio in her best dress and displayed much of her jewelry collection. The beauty is wearing two mourning hair bracelets, a large brooch, a ring, and a long necklace. Crossing her arm over her corseted stomach was a clear decision by the photographer to show off the jewelry. Her gorgeous large brown eyes stare directly into all her viewers. The daguerreotype is housed in a beautiful book style case.

The daguerreotype is a resealed 1/4 plate with new glass and the case measures about 4 x 5 inches.
