This is an incredible item up for sale that I am so proud to offer! This is an amazing antique autograph album, 150+ years old, that has been signed on various pages by various people from the 1870\'s. One page in the book has been signed in steel tip purple fountain pen by the legendary Charles Startton, known as Gen. Tom Thumb. Charles Sherwood Stratton was an American with dwarfism who achieved great fame as a performer under circus pioneer P. T. Barnum. He is known for normalizing \"Freak show\" and \"human abnormality\" as a form of entertainment, while being a talented actor, singer, dancer, and comedian. He died at the young age of 45. He has signed the page \"Charles S. Stratton known as Gen. Tom Thumb.\" The page has been co-signed by his wife, Lavinia Stratton. She has signed and added \"Farmingham, Mass July 18, 1879.\" Book is in pretty good shape and in tact for its age, although I assume this page will be best removed and used in a framed display or a slab for maximum value.

Continental Shipping:
All items will be shipped very promptly, usually using First Class Mail services, or Priority Mail if chosen. I will ship as soon as I can but visit the post office about 3 times a week. Items are shipped in plastic photo sleeves (very attractive durable hard plastic) and should not be bent or folded in transit. Items larger than photos are shipped in very heavy cardboard, while 11x14\" photos and posters are shipped in sturdy poster tubes. Great care will be taken in packaging your winning item as these items are 1-of-a-kind! I will combine purchases on photos, and am very willing to work with you on shipping in anyway (Express, UPS, FED-EX, etc.) Delivery confirmation is usually purchased on all items and will be added into database when item is shipped.
International shipping (Please read):
International shipping is done using either First Class International mail or Global Priority Mail.On packages valued at over $50, Registered Mail will be used for even more security.Even though I am a quick and reliable shipper, it is very hard to estimate arrival to different countries.I will provide a scanned customs # that will prove the promptness in my shipping, and assure you that your item has been mailed.After that, we both just need to wait it outand be patient. Please understand that sometimes packages mysteriously take months due to customs (very rare, but happens).If you are an international buyer and not willing to work with me, please refrain from offerding as I will have scanned proof that I mailed your item promptly, but can not control the time it takes to get there.I have had difficulty several times in the past withholding packages (Italy, Spain, Mexico, Russian Federation), so pleasebe aware a $12 extra charge will be added for Registered Mail for these countries.
