This was handcrafted by Native American man who lived in the north woods in Wisconsin. The Ax looks ancient and I do know it was put to use when building the log cabin and to chop cords of firewood because they only heated their cabin with wood stoves. I do know "Lost Axe" became the name of the cabin. A Native American Couple proudly built years ago by tradition, with respect of nature while practicing honor and beliefs of their ancestors; which has as proven to me the purpose, beauty and of the hard work they did in every aspect of their life.
