Going Up, Vintage 1940s Gil Elvgren 5x7 Pin-Up Print, Skirt Caught in Elevator: $19.99
“Going Up” is a 1940s vintage Gil Elvgren pin-up print. Gil Elvgren (1914-1980) was an American painter of pin-up girls, advertising and illustration. His paintings of models in his hyper-realitystyle earned him the reputation of being "The Norman Rockwell of cheesecake"! "Going Up" is approximately 5" x 7" in overall size and 5" x 6" in image size and is in excellent condition. Chuck Olson Collection Chuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints. He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960. Chuck amassed a collection of well over 10,000 framed and unframed prints before his death. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the item.
