BERYL var EMERALD on QUARTZ:Gujar Killi Emerald Deposit, Shangla District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. Dimensions: 5.0 x 4.7 x 1.9cm, miniature. This is a superb cluster of gemmy to translucent, rich emerald-green, hexagonal Emerald crystals on a perfectly contrasting, off-white Quartz matrix. The smaller Emerald crystals average between 3 and 5mm and the two large, tabular crystals are each a whopping 1cm across! Every crystal on this super aesthetic piece is mostly gemmy to translucent and is sharply formed and distinct! Even the Quartz and what may also be Adularia are well-formed and of an ideal color to show off these amazing Emeralds! This is probably the finest miniature the locality has produced!
