This glass jar comes with a metal lid and a matching stand. The jar is unmarked, but is believed to be from the early 1920s. This jar has been well preserved as its original owner says it was kept inside a display cabinet for years. This jar is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The lid has is a heavier metal rather than being a thin tin that you would find on modern jars. Underneath the jar is a pontil that was left from the glass blower showing it is indeed a hand made piece. This piece is perfect for collectors of Hoosier, kitchen cabinet jars, and antiques!
This item is shaped like a pumpkin with a smooth ribbed design. At the rim of the jar is a zipper-like design that run diagonal lines around the top perimiter. Its fishbowl appearance makes this jar open to many possibilities!The item height is 7.5 inches tall, 7.5 inches wide, and has a circumference of 26 inches.
