I have a large selection of pieces in my store, but due to the expense of listing them all at one time, I will be listing only a few sales each week. I will try and list a variety of pieces each week and hopefully you will find items of interest to you.
These Harmony Kingdom pieces named "Across the Pond" (figurine) and "Safe Journey" (box figurine) were carved by Peter Calvesbert in 2009. They were hand painted/finished bylocal craftsmen in the Cotswoldarea of England.
The two pieces were designed to fit together, showing a pair of ducks on a reed bordered pond. Beautiful coloring on these pieces. There were 130 pond pieces and 150 duck pieces.
Harmony Kingdom description:
"Across the Pond" -Designed as a base for the Mallard ducks in “Safe Journey”, reeds and creatures surround the pond. The interior inscription is a reminder of the event’s host state, with a caricature of Peter as a "Rhode Island Red" chicken.
"Safe Journey" -This piece was given as a gift to attendees at the 2009 HOP “Passport to the Kingdom” Convention in Newport, Rhode Island. Attendees were given the opportunity to purchase one additional piece. A male Mallard duck embraces his partner as he prepares to depart on a journey, replete with suitcase and passport. The inscription "Anas Platyrhynchos" is the scientific name for the mallard.
