House of Atmos is proud to present for your consideration a Jaeger LeCoultre Baby Atmos clock, model 526-5, with s/n 90946. This model is commonly known as the \"Baby\" Atmos as it is slightly smaller than the standard Atmos. The clock has been serviced and all necessary adjustments performed. The clock runs well. Please understand minor accuracy adjustment by using the built-in lever might be necessary at its new home. Adjustment is simple and easy. No tool is needed. Instruction is included with every clock we sell.
There are several features that are unique to the Baby Atmos Clock and this one in particular:
1. To set time on the standard Atmos it will require either removing the front door which frequently has glass chip on the lower corners or removing a cumbersome and heavy glass cover. The Baby Atmos comes with a convenient swing out door, thereby eliminating both problems.
2. LeCoultre manufacturered a limited number of Atmos clocks with two pendulum locking mechanisms. This type of arrangement is available on the model 540 and newer models, and on a few selected model 526-5 clocks (Baby Atmos). This is one of those rare clocks. One lock is located between the dial and the round pendulum. The other lock is on the underside of the clock.
3. Notice the rare non-numeral dial on this clock.
4. Atmos clocks with rare blue screws are sought after by collectors. This clock is one of those rare ones with the blue screws.
The bellows has been checked and is functional. The clock comes with pre-drilled holes for the buyer to personalized the clock with his own plaque. This vintage clock shows signs of minor wear and age on the outer case. We believe its condition is excellent for its age. Please remember condition is a matter of personal judgement and will vary from person to person. So please view all the pictures before buying.
